i'm running build 5308 and i want to back up my os loader record before i muck with bcdedit to add a new entry for kernrl debugging (last time i tried it i lost the legacy XP x64 entry)
so i try :
bcdedit /export "c:\bcdbackup"
and i get a message to say the operation failed because of lack of resources...
i've tried it in a CMD window 'run as administrator' ... same thing
any idea what is going on?

bcdedit question
soln: must use a file extension .. eg c:\bcdbackup.txt
